Feature
A modern part of a forgotten history, 'Shiro's Head' takes us to the Pacific island of Guam, USA where outcast Vince Flores (Don Muna) struggles to come to terms with his family's history of secrets and a dark past of his own. Shunned from his family for the death of his father, his attempt to reconcile causes his family's past to catch up to him for the last time. Shiro's Head is the feature film debut produced, written and directed by brothers Don and Kel Muna. Their screenplay is adapted from their original short story entitled 'The Legend of Shiro'. Shot entirely on location in Guam, USA, the island naturally sets the framework for circumstances of life in a small town.
Shorts
A short experimental film that combines spoken word poetry and skateboarding. The poem focuses on the idea of the 'American Dream' and the definition of success in America, versus saying fuck it, getting high, tuning out, and being happy as a starving artist. This short was shot guerilla style, in one single 1:24min take by Andy Vu, skating backwards, in the parking structure of the Santa Ana Police Dept.

Tribeca All Access Call For Submissions

Tribeca All Access (TAA) is a year round networking and career development program of the Tribeca Film Institute (TFI) that supports the work of filmmakers from traditionally under-represented communities within the industry by providing access to industry representatives looking for new projects in development. Approximately 20 qualified directors and screenwriters will be selected to participate in one-on-one meetings with key industry players in addition to networking and learning from dedicated panels and comprehensive workshops during the Tribeca Film Festival.

Program alumni, which includes Tze Chun (writer/director of Children of Invention), receive year-round support through TAA OnTrack, which includes educational panels and workshops; TFI hosted presentation screenings; promotional support for completed films; and the use of digital filmmaking and editing equipment.

Tribeca All Access is open to both mid-career and emerging narrative and documentary filmmakers. Applicants are required to apply with a completed feature-length screenplay, documentary proposal, or documentary work-in-progress and must have at least one screenwriter or director attached who qualifies. Projects may be of any subject matter, genre, or budget range suited for independent or major studio production.

The program is now a recognized talent pool within the industry and an unrivaled opportunity to advance your filmmaking career.
